Anonymous asked: In regards to your story on Manong by the Road...I was just wondering if you had tried to track down his daughter. Maybe now, she can take care of her father after all the years he took care of her. This story breaks my heart :( how could any adult not want to care for their parent(s)
Anonymous asked: Thank you. It saddens me that Manong thinks he's a burden. I feel that is because, in our modern culture, many have forgotten our ways of tribal living. Traditionally, Manong as an elder, would be revered in his community because of his wisdom and experience. That is where he would be taking care of us. He would be involved and not a burden. Respect Our Elders. Thank you again.

Anonymous asked: My uncle works w/ Catholic Social Services, most specifically the men's homeless shelter. I linked him to Manong's story and he told me that the reason why we doesn't stay at the shelter is because he won't do the housework. [You get free housing, but there are chores that you must do.] He just sleeps there then goes out during the day. He has money, and a car. Please...
Anonymous asked: such a beautiful, heartfelt, sad, and inspiring story. I wish we could lead by his example of not being ashamed of who we are, not being materialistic, to have faith and trust in the lord.

Hey Guys!! Gonna need your help! Its almost Valentines day, and guess what? Its my 5th Wedding Anniversary. My youngest son’s birthday is on the 19th so as you can already imagine, we would rather spend money on his birthday party than on our Valentines Date.. Helping us get the most likes by Feb. 7th would be one of the biggest blessings we could ever receive besides the fact that you all...
